Chris is a highly experienced business manager and professional accredited coach who works with people, teams, and businesses to help them achieve their potential.
He specialises in working with ambitious people and businesses who seek a higher level of performance. His broad and deep experience helps his clients deal with change and get to where they want to be quicker than they would do on their own.
Chris’s strengths are helping his clients to figure out what will work for them, in leading people to see the potential of their strengths and then filling them with the confidence to achieve their potential.
He has developed a psychology-based model for understanding and transforming individual performance, which he uses throughout his coaching work.
Chris’s style is orientated toward getting clients to take action that will transform their performance. Chris bases his work on five key values; integrity, maximise learning, impact, stretch and simplicity.
Working with a variety of successful business including CJ Garland & Co, CTC Marine Projects, Imass/Infoterra, ITPS, AMD Coatings, Arriva, and The Specials Laboratory, Chris continues to be trained by the International Coach Federation accredited Adler School of Professional Coaching. He is a member of the CIPD and the ICF, and has a MBA from Durham Business School.
Chris’s professional career history saw him working for a number of manufacturing companies based in the North East of England between 1984 and 2002. His roles included planning, purchasing, system management, project management, warehouse distribution, and ultimately Supply Chain Director.
On a lighter note, Chris has given up on his 'biker days', sold his motorbike and taken up golf! He loves watching motogp and the utter brilliance that is Valentino Rossi, walking the Lakeland Fells and eating chocolate!
